Paul Hoyle — Director
As an ex-engineer, Paul has an eye for detail and enjoys the technical aspects of financial planning and has a particular focus on pension issues.
Paul commenced his career within financial services back in 1990 with the well respected home service company, Refuge Assurance, where he ultimately attained the role of Senior Specialist Pension Consultant providing training and development to over 600 advisers.
In 2000, Paul became an Independent Financial Adviser for one of the main UK banks, where he not only advised personal and corporate bank customers but also became a reference point on pension issues for other advisers and professionals within the banking group.
in 2004, Paul moved on to join a national IFA firm which specialised in providing detailed and bespoke financial advice to the clients of a large regional accountancy practice. It was during this time that Paul, Mark and Tracey commenced their working relationship. After a successful two year period, Paul, Mark and Tracey decided to establish Ashton Hoyle Independent Financial Advisers.
Paul holds the CII Advanced Financial Planning certificate with examination passes in G10 (taxation and trusts), G60 (Pensions), K10 (Retirement Options) and G30 (Corporate Financial Planning).
Away from the business, Paul is married with two young children (twins) and enjoys cinema, football, listening to music and going to live concerts. He is also a keen (but all too often frustrated) golfer.
